This Privacy Policy explains how Studio by CanvasFab (“Studio,” “we,” “us”), operated by CANVAS PRINTS BY CANVASFAB LLC, collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information, and the choices you have. It applies to buyers, photographers, and visitors.
We use personal information to process and fulfill orders, print and ship products, provide customer support, operate photographer accounts and payouts, calculate and collect applicable taxes, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, send transactional messages about your orders and account, and — with your consent where required — send marketing and measure and improve the service. Order messages are treated as personal data; they are never parsed, profiled, or used to contact anyone named in them, and are not marketing consent.
We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed to run Studio:
We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Photographers who receive payouts get access to a Stripe Express dashboard for their own payout data.
Order records are retained as permanent business records for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution purposes. A photo you upload to print your own work is kept long-term once it becomes an order, so you can reorder without re-uploading; an upload that never becomes an order is deleted after 30 days, as is an abandoned in-progress print. You can ask us to delete your uploads at any time (Section 6). Photographer artwork and account data are retained while the account exists and, after closure, only as needed to fulfill orders, support prior purchases, keep records, and meet legal obligations.
Essential cookies keep the site and checkout working. Where enabled, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity for aggregated usage heatmaps and session replay) to understand usage and to measure and retarget advertising. You control these on our Privacy choices page, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Google Ads Settings and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tools. Non-essential tracking is loaded only in line with your choices.
You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal information. Guest buyers do not need an account — you can make a request by verifying identifying details tied to your order (name, email, and order number). Send requests to legal@canvasfab.com. A deletion request clears the personal data we hold about you, including any order message, except records we are required or permitted to keep by law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Depending on our activities and thresholds, California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, use our Do Not Sell or Share controls.
Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy; material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. For privacy questions or requests, email legal@canvasfab.com, or reach general support at hello@canvasfab.com.
